Our Story

Dan is a semi-retired university professor and Daryll is a self-employed.

We met in the late 90’s and then fell in love.  It wasn’t always easy but our shared love for adventure as well as the depth and passion of all we do has kept us together.  Since then, we have lived a pretty unconventional lifestyle. Our love for travel and for each other has only grown and we continue to share our adventure, small and large, everyday.

We have traveled extensively over the last few years, spending months just getting to know one part of the world.  Our favorite and more recent trip was the Society Islands in French Polynesia, and even a few weeks is not enough time to fully explore and immerse ourselves into the culture of its beautiful people.

We hope to inspire others to really take the time to travel and explore, to build bridges with people and cultures that seem so different from our own, and to give back to a world that has loved and protected us.
